Kivet Kingdom Chronicles

Today I want to share a bit of how I started my webcomic "Kivet Kingdom Chronicles"

El día de hoy quiero compartir un poco de cómo inicié mi webcomic "Kivet Kingdom Chronicles" ( Crónicas del Reino Kivet?, jaja nunca había traducido el título de mi comic) el cual pueden leer aquí: http://kivetkc.subcultura.es/tira/1

It all started with this awfull drawing, the story was named " Infinitum Heart"  and the protagonist was a girl, Abigail, she had to save the world, but not the Eart, she had to save Nüzhet, a planet where those angel-like characters were from, because an ambitious man found a book from a magician and somehow he manage to learn how to use magic and took control of this dying planet and caused a lot of caos.

Todo empezó con este dibujo de arriba, se llamaba "Infinitum Heart" ( Corazón Infinito) y la protagonista era la chica de en medio, Abigail, ella tenía que salvar Nüzhet, un planeta de donde venían los personajes que parecen angeles, porque un ambicioso hombre encontró un libro que dejó un mago y de alguna forma aprendió a usar magia, tomó el control del planeta y causó mucho caos.

In 2010 I drew Robert, Abi's twin brother, I fell in love with him, and I tried to adjust the story so he could be a main character as well, but I didn't like how it was going besides I had created a lot of cool characters to only center on Abi or Rob, and it was very hard for me to create new world places, species etc etc; in the next year I changed completely the story but kept the characters ('cause I love them too much) and "Twins adventure" was born.

 En 2010 dibujé a Robert, el hermano gemelo de Abi, me enamoré tanto de él, que traté de ajustar la historia para que él también fuera protagonista, pero no me gustó hacia dónde iba la historia, a demás ya había creado demasiados personajes geniales como para solo centrarnos en estos gemelos y era muy complicado para mi crear nuevos lugares, especies, etc, etc; así que el siguiente año, cambié por completo la historia pero me quedé con los personajes (porque en serio que los amo demasiado) y "twins adventure" (aventuras de gemelos? algo así sería en español) nació.

So the new story was about Medieval Europe, under the rules of an ambitious lord too and with caravans of people who wants to free the continent from caos caused by the evil guy and his army, to make it more interesting, exciting y with atouch of fantasy, I added the nature powers that people can use by the stones (kivets) left by the nature powers goddesses on Earth.

I love too much the story and it so complicated, full of drama, fantasy, adventures, caos, battles and more, that my mind has created so much content without control, that again the tittle didn't match the story and it wasn't only focus on Rob and Abi, there are stories that they can't be the main heroes, and I had to change the name and this is how "Kivet Kingdom Chronicles" is what it is now.

Así que la nueva historia se trataba de Europa Medieval, igualmente controlada por un lord (señor poderoso) ambicioso, y con caravanas de gentecita que quiere liberar el continente del caos creado por el tipo malo y su ejército, para ponerlo más interesante, emocionante y con un toque de fantasía, agregué los poderes de la naturaleza que las personas podía utilizar a través de las piedras (kivets) que las diosas de los elementos habían dejado en la Tierra. 

La historia me gusta tanto y se ha complicado, llena de Drama, Fantasía, Aventuras, Caos, Batallas, etc, que mi mente ha creado mucho contenido sin control, que nuevamente no podía concetrar todo en Rob y Abi, hay historias que contar donde ellos no pueden ser los héroes principales, es por esto que tuve que cambiar otra vez el nombre de mi comic a "Kivet Kingdom Chronicles". 

Now I'm really really happy of how the story goes, it is all messy now, but little by little I'll be drawing all I want to tell about my characters, I have more than 42 ( OMG) and to promote a little more about them, I want to share a bit of my sketchbook of them, it has more info and details about its development (more of what I wrote here) plus some of the sketches I've donde since 2008 to 2015.

Ahora estoy muy feliz por como va la historia, tengo todo desordenado pero poco a poco iré dibujando todo lo que quiero contar sobre mis personajes que ya llevo más de 42 (Oh Mi Dioooos xD) y para promocionar un poco más sobre ellos, quiero compartir una pequeña parte de mi primer sketchbook que hice sobre ellos, habla con más detalle sobre su desarrollo (lo que conté aquí) más algunos dibujos que he hecho desde el 2008 al 2015. ejemplar gratis aquí: https://gum.co/roxho/Kivetbook sample
